HTML abbr Tag

Description:

The HTML abbr element contains abbreviated text and is commonly used together with the "title" attribute to expand/explain the abbreviation. Visual browsers usually render the content of the "title" attibute as a "tool tip" (when the user puts the mouse pointer over the element for a small period of time). But in this case, you mustn not forget that the "title" attribute provides the expansion/explanation of the abbreviation.

Examples:

Code View
